Mauricio Pochettino revealed Kieran Trippier (knee), Victor Wanyama (thigh) and Eric Dier (illness) will all be assessed ahead of the home encounter with Leicester City, while Serge Aurier (hamstring) and Mousa Dembele (ankle) are also doubtful. Having secured a top-four finish, the Spurs boss may be less inclined to take a risk on those players, although Spurs will want to secure a third-placed finish. So Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth could be on standby to start at right-back and centre-back respectively, while Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose are possible alternatives in the back four. Pochettino stated that Dier should be okay to feature agains the Foxes, so he may partner Moussa Sissoko in central midfield, while after producing the assist against Newcastle, Son Heung-min could retain his start in the attacking midfield trio in a 4-2-3-1 system. But the Spurs boss may be keen to provide Lucas Moura with an opportunity to start, while Erik Lamela offers another option. Harry Winks remains sidelined.
