Predicted Line-ups – Gameweek 38

Manchester United

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho revealed that David de Gea will be rested for the home meeting with Watford, with Sergio Romero set to start in goal. He also been confirmed that Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Michael Carrick, Daley Blind and Eric Bailly will all start. That means Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard could be left out after starting against West Ham on Thursday night, but Nemanja Matic was rested against the Hammers, and may join Carrick, who will start against the Hornets in his final appearance for the club, in central midfield. Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay are the other options in the middle of the park, with Marouane Fellaini ruled out due to a muscle problem. After using a back three against West Ham, Mourinho is expected to revert to a four-man defence. The United boss said after the West Ham match that Chris Smalling is in need of a rest after making 15 consecutive starts, so Bailly should be joined by one of Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof or Marcos Rojo at the heart of the defence. Daley Blind looks set to start at left-back at the expense of Ashley Young and Luke Shaw, while Matteo Darmian could get a run out at right-back in place of Antonio Valencia. Romelu Lukaku misses out once again due to a foot injury.
