Vicente Iborra has been ruled out for the rest of the season with the hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United. With Wilfred Ndidi suspended and Matty James injured, youngster Hamza Choudhury looks poised to join Adrien Silva in central midfield for the trip to Burnley. Daniel Amartey was due to return to training this week, but this match is likely to come too soon for the Ghanaian, who would be another option in the middle of the park. Fousseni Diabate was favoured in the No 10 role against the Magpies, but Shinji Okazaki, Demarai Gray and Kelechi Iheanacho are all possible alternatives in that position. Gray is also an option on the left wing in place of Marc Albrighton. Christian Fuchs may come into contention for a start at left-back in place of Ben Chilwell, either at Turf Moor or against Southampton five days later.
Simpson – Morgan – Maguire – Chilwell
Mahrez– Choudhury – Silva – Albrighton
