West Ham United
With the Hammers facing Stoke City on Monday night, Manuel Lanzini will have more time to prove his fitness following a knee injury. David Moyes stated he is hoping both Lanzini and James Collins (hamstring) have a “good chance” of being available to face the Potters. If fit, the Argentine will likely replace Edimilson Fernandes in the attacking midfield positions in a 3-4-2-1 system. Although Chicharito came off the bench to score the equaliser at Chelsea, the Mexican is unlikely to push for a start given the form of Marko Arnautovic in the lone striker role. Aaron Cresswell was forced off with a knock at Stamford Bridge, but looks set to be fit to retain his start on the left side of the back three. Patrice Evra provides cover in that position, while Collins would be another alternative if available. Other changes are unlikely given the recent upturn in results. Andy Carroll (ankle) is closing in on a first-team return, but the Potters visit may come too soon for the striker. Winston Reid, Sam Byram, Pedro Obiang and Michail Antonio are long-term absentees.
Rice – Ogbonna – Cresswell
Zabaleta – Kouyate – Noble – Masuaku
Fernandes – Mario
