Caretaker head coach Darren Moore may be able to call upon Nacer Chadli for the home clash against Swansea City after the midfielder returned to full training on Monday following a thigh injury. Alan Pardew had favoured a 3-5-2 system in recent matches, but with the Baggies now desperate for wins, Moore could deploy a 4-4-2. Chadli and Matt Phillips would be the attacking options out wide, with Chris Brunt, Oliver Burke and James McClean other contenders. Gareth Barry is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, but Sam Field could be an option in central midfield if he is fit following a knock. A switch to a four-man defence will likely see Allan Nyom drop to the bench, with Craig Dawson starting at right-back. James Morrison and Daniel Sturridge are set to remain out.

Phillips – Livermore – Yacob – Brunt
