Eddie Howe revealed Josh King (neck) and Ryan Fraser (back) will be assessed in training on Friday with the pair trying to overcome niggling injuries. The Cherries boss hinted that King will be available, so the Norwegian could return to the starting XI for the home clash against West Bromwich Albion after only featuring as a substitute in the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Providing Howe sticks with the 4-4-1-1 system, King should operate in a support striker role. Having featured off the bench in recent weeks following a spell on the sidelines, Jermain Defoe remains a viable alternative to Callum Wilson for the lone striker role. Adam Smith has been used on the right side of midfield in the last two matches but, against bottom side West Brom, the likes of Jordon Ibe and Fraser may be considered for a start. If Smith is replaced on the right wing, his strong form means he is likely to move to either right-back or left-back, potentially putting the starts of either Simon Francis or Charlie Daniels at risk. Marc Pugh is still a doubt, while Tyrone Mings remains sidelined.
Cook – Francis – Ak – Daniels
Smith – Cook – Goslin – Stanislas
