Predicted Line-ups – Gameweek 30

Manchester United

Jose Mourinho revealed Marouane Fellaini is in contention to return for the lunchtime showdown with Liverpool, but Anthony Martial is set to remain sidelined. Fellaini will provide an alternative to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba in central midfield. Jesse Lingard could keep his place in the front three alongside Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, with Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata the other viable starters. Jose Mourinho could also consider moving to the 4-2-3-1 set-up he finished with at Selhurst Park, though, with Sanchez occupying a central role. The back four may also remain unchanged, although Mourinho stated that Eric Bailly is fully fit, so he could be an option to return in central defence. Luke Shaw is unlikely to earn a recall at left-back in place of Ashley Young. Phil Jones, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera all remain sidelined, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic (lack of match fitness) isn’t expected to feature.
