Pope starts off Burnley’s unchanged (1)4-4-2 setup, as first choice keeper Heaton remains injured, although is now in full training with the first team, yet he is a few matches away from a return. Pope should be fairly secure in your FPL line-up for the time being. The back four of Lowton, Long, Mee and Ward are expected to be the defenders for the face off against Southampton in gameweek 28. This follows from Bardsley and Tarkowski being ruled out through injury. The midfield could see Gudmundsson, Hendrick, Cork and Lennon play together. Defour is ruled out through injury. Vokes and Barnes are likely to join up upfront, with Barnes slotting in behind Barnes as a secondary striker. Southampton are not the team they were last season, so could this be the chance Burnley need to get back into form?
Lowton – Long – Mee – Ward
Lennon – Hendrick – Cork – Gudmundsson
Vokes – Barnes
