Pope starts off Burnley’s unchanged (1)4-4-2 setup, as first choice keeper Heaton remains injured, although is now training with the first team, so be ready to see Pope drop out of the first 11 to make way for Heaton possibly. The back four of Bardsley, Long, Mee and Taylor are expected to be fielded, with Tarkowski riled out, looking to claim a solid point against high flying Manchester City this week. The midfield could see Gudmundsson, Westwood, Cork and Arfield play together. Burnley fans will be disappointed to see Detour out of action for a short while through injury. Hendrick and Barnes are likely to join up upfront, with Hendrick slotting in behind Barnes as a secondary striker. It is Sean Dyche’s attack force that has let them down slightly this season, but for this particular match, they will have to do something quite spectacular to gain anything of worth.
Bardsley – Long – Mee – Taylor
Gudmundsson – Defour – Cork – Arfield
Hendrick – Barnes
