With only a few days to go until the start of the Premier League season, FPL managers will no doubt have selected their first draft teams. If you haven’t selected your team yet or are looking to make amendments, here’s some info about each of the teams you could use to ensure you at the top your private leagues!
Man City have really splashed the cash on improving the squad this summer, with big names like Ederson, Walker, Mendy and Bernardo Silva coming in.
City could line up in a (1)4-1-4-1 formation. Kompany and Stones look set to start as centre-halfs with Walker and Mendy as full-backs. Just in front of the back four, Gundogan or Yaya Toure could provide defensive support. De Bruyne will definitely start in central midfield, whilst Jesus and Bernardo Silva battle for the other centre attacking midfield position (behind the striker). Sterling and Sane will play as wingers. The signings made by Guardiola suggest David Silva will lose game time, but what we can be sure of is that there will be plenty of competition in the Man City midfield. Agüero will reclaim his position as striker, but will be under pressure from Jesus who could take his place and Silva fill the midfield role.
Agüero will cost FPL managers £11.5million, but will undoubtedly bag you many points and with an improved midfield to supply him with chances. Agüero is the preferred penalty taker when he plays too. Agüero looks like a great option until he gets injured.
Nobody is 100% certain what role Jesus will play this season, weather that is behind Agüero or as a back up striker, so he could be a bit of a risk. His price is £10.5million.
De Bruyne comes in at £10million, what we think is a reasonable price. Valued less than Hazard but more than Mane, last season’s assist king (18) is a solid choice once again.
Predicted Line-Up :
Walker – Kompany – Stones – Mendy
Bernardo Silva ( Sterling ) – De bruyne – Silva – Jesus(Sane)
Penalty Takers : Yaya – Aguero – Jesus
Free Kick Takers : De bruyne – Silva – Bernardo

Antonio Conte could look to play a (1)3-4-3 formation, but we can’t be too certain with this one. Courtois will be the first choice goalie though, that’s for sure. The midfield will see Alonso on the left and covering for injured Hazard, with Moses on the right. Fabregas will play alongside Kante in the middle of the park for now, but when new signing Bakayoko returns from injury Conte could switch things up. The front 3 will consist of Willian and Pedro on the wings and Morata down the middle.
