With only a few days to go until the start of the Premier League season, FPL managers will no doubt have selected their first draft teams. If you haven’t selected your team yet or are looking to make amendments, here’s some info about each of the teams you could use to ensure you at the top your private leagues!
Last season we saw Arsene Wenger try out the (1)3-4 3 formation. There is a strong possibility we could see this played at The Emirates once again this season. Petr Cech remains a great keeper
and a valuable asset to Arsenal, playing a vital role in the Arsenal defence and will remain in goal this season. His defensive protection will be Koscielny, Mustafi and last season’s break through, Holding. The middle four sees Xhaka and Ramsey in the centre, with Kolasinac as a left wing back and Bellerin in his new position, right wing back, where Wegner can get the best out of Bellerin using his pace. Summer signing Lacazette will be looking to score plenty of goals from a central forward position, with Alexis Sanchez and Ozil just behind him.
Sanchez will no doubt be taking spot kicks, with his fair share of free kicks too, and directly involved in 34 goals last season he will be one of the highest scoring players.
Predicted Line-Up :
Holding – Mustafi – Koscielny
Bellerín – Xhaka – Ramsey – Kolasinac
Özil – Sánchez(Welbeck)
Lacazette (Giroud )
Penalty Takers : Sánchez – Lacazette – Giroud
Free Kick Takers : Sánchez – Özil – Xhaka

The Swans could play in a (1)4-3-1-2 set up this season. Fabianski is the first choice keeper at Swansea, with Mawson and Fernández as first choice centre-backs. Olsson will play at left-back while Naughton plays at right-back. Routledge, Fer and Carroll will play as a line of 3 in midfield. On the assumption he stays put this summer, Sigurdsson will play as an attacking midfielder just behind Llorente and loan signing Abraham.
Predicted Line-Up :
Mawson- Olsson- Fernández – Naughton
Routledge- Fer – Carroll
Sigurdsson – Llorente – Abraham
Penalty Takers : Sigurdsson – Llorente
Free Kick Takers : Sigurdsson – Routledge
The Red devils have a squad capable of finishing in the top four this season, and have a great balance between defence and attack. Favourable starting fixtures make United a good squad to invest in.
(1)4-3-3 could be the formation played by Mourinho. De Gea will clearly be the first choice keeper for now. Bailly will be joined by new man Lindelof at centre-back whilst Valencia retains his position at right back and Darmian fills left back. The 3 in midfield could be filled by Pogba, Herrera, Carrick, Mata or Matic, but 2 will miss out, so rotation looks likely. Martial has been looking sharp in pre-season as left-winger, Mkhitaryan will start on his favoured right side. Lukaku has got off to a good start at United in pre-season and will be looking to continue his positive performances into the start of the Premier League season.
De Gea costs £5.5million and with teams such as West Ham and Swansea in their opening fixtures, clean sheets look likely.
Lindelof will cost you just £5.5million, a bargain price for a player that will likely bring lots of points home for managers this season.
Valencia – Bailly – Lindelof – Darmian
Pogba – Carrick – Herrera
Mkhitaryan – Lukaku – Martial ( Rashford)
Penalty Takers : Lukaku – Pogba – Mata
Free Kick Takers : Pogba – Mata – Lindelof
The Hornets could shape up in a (1)5-3-2 this year. Gomez is the first choice keeper, with 3 central defenders in front of him, Mariappa, Janmaat and Britos. The wide defenders will be Holebas and Prödl. Cleverley, Capoue and Pereyra will give attacking threat behind Deeney and Okaka.

Capoue – Pereyra – Cleverley
Deeney – Okaka

Championship runners up Brighton will use the (1)4-2-3-1 formation. Ryan should be the first choice goalkeeper. Dunk and Duffy look to play as the centre-halfs with captain Bruno and Suttner as full-backs. Next up are Stephens and Kayal playing as centre-defensive-midfielders. The next line of 3 will consist of Knockaert, Groß and March. Glenn Murray will play at the point of the attack.

West Ham look to play in a (1)4-3-3. Loan keeper Joe Hart will start for the Hammers. The back four will be made up of Reid, Cresswell, Zabaleta and Fonte, a strong back line. The next line of 3 will see Noble in the centre, with Snodgrass and Lanzini beside him. New striker Chicharito will push Carroll out of his place, left winger will be Arnautovic, on the other side will be Antonio.

Snodgrass – Noble – Lanzini
Antonio – Chicharito – Arnautovic
Penalty Takers : Noble – Carrol – Lanzini
Free Kick Takers : Snodgrass – Noble – Lanzini
Jurgen Klopp could play a 4-3-3 formation. Mignolet will start in goal, with Matip and Lovern in front. Clyne will continue to play at right back, whilst the left back position could be filled by Robertson, their recent signing from Hull. Midfielders include Coutinho, Henderson and Lallana, a familiar set of players. The front 3 will boast Firmino, Mane and Salah.
Salah has looked really sharp in pre-season, and at £9million and classed as a midfielder in the game, he could rack up serious points for a reasonable price.
Clyne – Matip – Lovereen(Van Dik) – Robertson
Henderson (Nabi Keita) -Lallana (Milner)- Coutinho ( wijinaldum )
Salah – Firmino – Mane
Penalty Takers : Milner – Coutinho

A conventional (1)4-4-2 formation looks probable for Bournemouth this season. Boruc looks set to start in goal. The back four will be filled by Francis and Cook at centre back, and Daniels, Smith and Ake battling for the two full-back positions, however Ake could fit in the midfield line also (rotation is possible). Stanislas and Arter will start in central midfield with Fraser and Pugh out wide. Defoe and King will certainly be a potent strike force.

Burnley will employ a (1)4-4-2 this season, starting with Heaton in goal. Following the departure of star defender Keane, Tarkowski and Mee will play as centre-backs with Ward and Lowton by their sides as full-backs.
