Anti-Fantasy, Players to Avoid – GW 31

A couple of disappointments for FPL managers occurred in GW30. Mo Salah blanked, Harry Kane got out injured early in the game. That’s about sums it up!

Man Utd scored all three goals in a derby against Liverpool, and won 2:1. Liverpool’s attacked produced nothing more than an assist from Mane for Bailly’s own goal. Everton beat Brighton 2:0 in a game that had it all: Gaetan Bong scored an own-goal, Wayne Rooney missed a penatly and Knockeart got sent off.

Huddersfield and Swansea playded nil-nil, with another red card in a gameweek, as Jordan Ayew got sent-off only 11 minutes into the game. Newcastle won confidently 3:0 against Southampton, which finally brought Mauricio Pellegrino’s tenure in St Mary’s to an end.  West Brom got a lead against Leicester early in the game, but that didn’t stop away team from scoring 4.

David Moyes decided to bring Joe Hart back between the sticks for a game against Burnley, which would presumably mean that Hart will remain in goal for the rest of the season. However, Burnley scored 3 goals in the second half. Chelsea won 2:1 agaisnt Crystal Palace, and yet another own-goal was scored (by Martin Kelly).

Arsenal showed some confidence and recored a 3:0 win agaisnt Watford. Troy Deeney missed spot kick for a visiting team. Bournemouth had an early lead against Tottenham at home, and hold on 1:1 result for a whole hour, until Son had it enough and decided to bring a game to an end with a brace.

In a last game of the gameweek, Man City won 0:2 “on a cold rainy night at Stoke” with two goals from David Silva.

Top 3 worst choices in GW30 per positions:

Worst 5 choices of GW30:

Unlike the last gameweek, after 30rd two changes occurred in THE WORST TEAM OF THE SEASON. Asmir Begović remains on goal, with only one change in front of him: Adam Smith is back in place of Schindler. The rest of the defense remains the same: Simon Francis, Pablo Zabaleta and Lewis Dunk.

In the midfield Solly March, James McClean, Oriol Romeu and Tom Davis are now accompanied by Wilfred Ndidi.

Ashley Barnes remains a sole forward in the team even after he scored in third league game in a row!

Due to FA cup fixtures, GW31 will have only 4 games:

Bournemouth – West Brom: Cherries has to win this game, and they should be more than capable of doing it. They dropped some points recently in a games they should’ve won, so I think it’s time for them to get to a safe table position.

Huddersfield – Crystal Palace: Huddersfield managed not to beat 10-men Swansea last gameweek. I really enjoyed them in the first half of the season, but they really got worse in the second half. Palace on the other hand is in the relegation zone, but I think they have to win this game if they think of staying up.

Stoke – Everton: Everton is a clear favorite, even though they don’t play so well recently.

Liverpool – Watford: Well, I think’s it’s time for Klopp’s guys to lick their wound from last week’s derby loss at Old Trafford.

Good luck FPL managers!
